NEON Signal Mapper is a coverage mapping solution that delivers 3D mapping, tracking, and visualization for RF signals – it automatically geo-references signal data in 3D, stores it in the NEON Cloud, and provides 3D visualization and reporting. Signal Mapper leverages TRX's patented NEON® Location Service, which uses inertial sensor fusion, user corrections, and map constraints to enable real-time 3D location and tracking within buildings, stadiums, subways, dense urban areas, and any region where GPS is unavailable.
This new NEON Signal Mapper integration adds valuable 4G-LTE and 5G-NR capabilities to the existing TRX-VIAVI LMR solutions previously introduced to the market that enabled the seamless geo-referencing and 3D visualization of multiple, simultaneous LMR measurements from the 3550R and the 8800SX radio test sets. TRX and VIAVI continue to enhance these existing Signal Mapper solutions with new features and capabilities, including grid mapping that dramatically simplifies mandated compliance testing, updated UIs for easier setup and configuration, and outdoor drive testing support, as well as performance enhancements that speed up measurements and allow for faster multi-channel coverage testing.
