TeamMate Technology Announces THE Killer App for PBX-to-Teams integration
Connect Microsoft Teams to Your Current Phone System
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass., May 19, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- TeamMate Technology is proud to announce the beta release of the TeamMate Connector. The TeamMate Connector links Microsoft Teams to a corporate or cloud phone system by enhancing Microsoft Direct Routing, a feature that allows Service Providers and others to sell SIP Trunk service to Teams users. With the addition of the TeamMate Connector, you can now turn Microsoft Teams native dial pad into a softphone on your current phone system and put an Application into Teams customized to your company or services.
With 75M announced daily users, another 40M Skype for Business users in need of transition and loads of organic growth in times of Covid 19 remote work, Teams is making a strategic impact for most service providers, resellers and MSPs.
Microsoft has created Direct Routing, a great tool for SIP integration into Teams. Most companies – almost all medium and large ones - still need features of their current phone systems, but they are also using Microsoft Teams. TeamMate bridges this gap.
"TeamMate has created a meaningful integration that cracks open the door of what's possible between a SIP PBX and Microsoft Teams" said Micah Singer, Managing Director of TeamMate Technology. "Bottom line, users want convenience and efficiency. Putting your current phone system calling, phone portal, and soft keys into Teams is convenient. Also, the Microsoft Teams mobile app is a winner especially with your business line on it."
The TeamMate Connector includes an Enterprise Provisioning Portal where the Enterprise – or the Reseller that manages the Enterprise – can create the link between the Teams User and the PBX. The onboarding is simplified into a Direct Routing build, User Provisioning and Application Design.
