TechShell, Inc. Has Filed a Lawsuit for Patent Infringement Against Max Interactive, Inc., d/b/a MAXCases
TechShell, Inc. is announcing today, April 3, 2019, that it has filed a lawsuit for patent infringement against Max Interactive, Inc., d/b/a MAXCases, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on April 1, 2019 (case #: 8:19-cv-00608). TechShell alleges that MAXCases's products, including its Max Extreme Shells for laptop computers, infringe at least five of TechShell's U.S. Patents and that MAXCases has induced its customers, resellers, and distributors to infringe those patents. The asserted patents are directed to an exterior (protective) cover for a laptop computer and include U.S. Patent Nos. 7,643,274, 7,907,400, 8,289,703, 8,638,555, and 10,234,898. TechShell filed this lawsuit to protect its U.S. patent rights. It is seeking, among other things, damages and attorneys' fees.
