Technology Integrator CUSITech Acquires Colorado Springs-Based Downtown Electric and Lighting
Acquisition to expand CUSITech's talent and service-offerings by bringing on 22 experienced and reputable Downtown Electric employees
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., May 7, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CUSITech is excited to announce the acquisition of another Colorado Springs company, Downtown Electric and Lighting.
Downtown Electric is an electrical expert in the commercial and industrial service business. Their work includes tenant improvements, apartment complexes, and commercial LED lighting. The company was founded by Joseph Bloomquist, a U.S. Army Veteran who has built up a team of some of the best electricians and service techs in Colorado Springs. Bloomquist said, the team of service-dedicated employees have "get it done," attitudes. Joey intends to stay with Downtown Electric as general manager.
The company has been serving Colorado Springs customers for 30 years and has built the business up based solely on word-of-mouth recommendations.
This acquisition will allow CUSITech to expand its growing workforce by adding 22 Downtown Electric employees to its staff ranging from apprentice to master electricians, accounting staff, dispatcher/project coordinator, and service manager.
Craig Kalie is excited about the benefits the acquisition will bring to the community as a whole, from employees to customers.
