The Historic Grey Moss Inn is Reopening with a New Northern Mexican Menu
Grey Forest, Texas (PRWEB) June 16, 2023 -- The Grey Moss Inn, a historic hill country restaurant with roots dating back to the 1920s, is excited to announce it will be reopening its doors on June 23rd after previously shutting down during the pandemic.
Originally operated by Mary Howell as a dinner restaurant, the Grey Moss Inn has evolved with each owner, including Jerry and Mary Martin, who transformed it into an upscale restaurant, and Dr. Lou Baeten, who turned it into the renowned steakhouse.
After facing challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Grey Moss Inn was forced to shut its doors. However, sisters Martha Valadez and Marisol Mendoza decided that this restaurant could not be lost forever. After taking over the restaurant at the end of 2022, the sisters have worked hard to get it ready to reopen its doors, this time with a Mexican twist. The menu has been carefully reimagined to showcase the delicious flavors of Northern Mexico.
From delicious enchiladas to succulent carne asada, guests can expect a unique and unforgettable dining experience that is steeped in history and bursting with flavor. Martha Valadez, co-owner of the Grey Moss Inn, says, "We can't wait to welcome you back to the Grey Moss Inn and make new memories together!”
