The NHP Foundation Names Alla A. Eleon Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer
New officer spent 13 years at Catholic Charities of Brooklyn and Queens
NEW YORK, Sept. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The NHP Foundation (NHPF) announced today that Alla A. Eleon has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the organization. Ms. Eleon brings over 20 years of financial accounting, auditing and organizational management experience to NHPF.
"Alla's in-depth experience managing a multi-million dollar portfolio of affordable housing entities for Catholic Charities coupled with her technological expertise and other accomplishments make her a tremendous fit for NHPF," said NHPF President & CEO, Richard Burns. Ms. Eleon's role includes improving the structure, work flow and technology of accounting services to achieve efficiency. She will work closely with NHPF CFO Gary Parkinson on annual consolidated audits and various required quarterly financial reports.
Prior to her work at Catholic Charities, Ms. Eleon worked with Related Partners, Inc. helping the company set up accounting and reporting processes for its Restaurant Fund. She also served for six years as an auditor in a mid-size public accounting firm with a variety of different clientele including affordable housing. Ms. Eleon is a certified public accountant by New York State.

Ms. Eleon earned her BBA in Accounting from Bernard Baruch College (CUNY) and received an Executive MBA from St. Joseph College.
