NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Country music artist and U.S. Army combat veteran Donnie Isaacs and the other veterans involved with his new single "Duffle Bags" want the world to know Thank a Veteran for your Freedom and the sacrifices our military continuously and passionately make for America.

"Duffel Bags" is the brand new single and video from the forthcoming album of the same name just released by Donnie Isaacs, a country music artist with CAMMO, The Center for Military Music Opportunities. CAMMO provides healing opportunities through music for service members with PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and other disabilities.

Written by Isaacs and Larry Glen Richardson, a U.S. Army Sniper Veteran, the music video tells the story of a soldier's experience and hits home the request to "thank a Veteran for your freedom." Photographer and Military Combat Veteran Jimmy Riley of 4 Dreamers Media, directed, filmed and edited the video. "We all felt it was extremely important to release this video by July 4th even though the message behind it is timeless and covers Memorial Day, Veterans Day, well, everyday pretty much," said Isaacs.

The new album is a collection of five songs and features songs co-written with well-known Nashville musicians including: Kevin Post (guitarist with Blake Shelton), Damien Horne (solo artist, and artist with New North, Muzik Mafia/Big & Rich), Peter Keys (artist with Lynyrd Skynard), Chris Hennessee (solo artist, and guitarist with Jamey Johnson). The players also perform on the album along with other well known Nashville musicians. Produced and recorded by bass player and arranger Pat Lassiter, Isaacs' is currently promoting the album and video on a radio tour and with live performances.

"I was performing my song "Duffle Bags" live on the radio at The Beaver FM 96.7 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and the receptionist came running into the DJ booth afterwards explaining how a woman was in the lobby wanting to thank me. She had heard the song live and it was so healing to her that she drove to the radio station to meet the voice behind the song. The DJs said never in the history of their station has anything like that ever happened. When that lady told me how much the song meant and told me her story, man, I shed a few tears, too," said Isaacs, "The song hits the heart of so many people and speaks for itself."

The ongoing cost to protect our freedom, to protect the Declaration of Independence and the United States is very real. Service members, veterans, first responders and their families continue to pay with their lives so American citizens can enjoy this beautiful country and live a life that is uniquely their own.
