The Trade Group Supports Gaming Clients for 9th Consecutive Year at gamescom 2018
DALLAS (PRWEB) September 13, 2018 -- Known as the biggest event the games industry has to offer, exhibitors from more than 50 countries and an estimated 500,000 visitors were expected to participate in gamescom 2018. The annual event celebrates its 10th anniversary this month in Cologne, Germany, and The Trade Group’s team of gaming event experts showed up in full force to support some of the top names in the video gaming industry.
The Trade Group was responsible for nearly 27,000 square feet of stands (booth space) at the event, including the commanding stands the company created for video game developer Wargaming as well as live streaming video platforms Twitch and Facebook Gaming.
2018 marks the fifth consecutive year The Trade Group has supported the exhibiting needs of Wargaming at gamescom.
According to Neeshu Hajra, VP of Business Development at The Trade Group, “For Wargaming we brought along a life-sized tank that fires, along with a board-able Warship. Wargaming also showcased incredible AR and VR experiences with the stand. As in previous years, the devil is in the details, and The Trade Group continued to wow with everything from costume design to a fully scenic and immersive queue experience for World of Tanks.”
Twitch is another long-standing client of The Trade Group’s, and Hajra and team were delighted to support the popular live streaming platform at gamescom.
“The Twitch stand included a live content stage and two streaming pods, as well as game stations sponsored by Rend. It’s absolutely incredible to continue our 6-year relationship with Twitch by representing them internationally. We pulled out all stops with the quality, fit and finish of this stand,” Hajra says.
Facebook Gaming was one of the largest presences The Trade Group has ever coordinated at gamescom.
As Hajra explains, “Facebook Gaming’s stand boasted over 60 gaming stations from partner developers, four Creator Cubes, and a lounge that’s a true oasis in the heart of gamescom. Executing this new brand has been beyond exciting, and we are honored they have chosen us to represent them.”
