Thirty Percent Coalition Names Julie Zuraw as President & CEO
NEW YORK (PRWEB) June 28, 2023 -- The Thirty Percent Coalition announced today that it has named Julie Zuraw President & CEO.
Zuraw brings extensive C-suite leadership, change-management, and board advisory and governance experience to the role. She has been President and COO of New York real estate investment, development, and management firms Allied Partners and Argo Real Estate, respectively, and is the creator of the Lead Like a Woman program, which helps executive women advance in male-dominated professions. She has been a faculty member at Columbia University and Barnard College, was previously Director of Strategy for the Publicis Brand Optimizations Systems Group, and has advised leaders across numerous industries.
“I am delighted to take on this role with the Thirty Percent Coalition, an organization that has a great reputation in the investor community. Diversity on corporate boards is urgently needed, as it's tied to performance: Diverse teams produce better results. Progress has been made in this area, but we are not there yet,” Zuraw said.
Zuraw has also worked extensively with non-profit leaders, advising the CEOs and boards/trustees of Wellesley College, Barnard College, Commercial Real Estate Women, Women in Fund Finance, and the National Resources Defense Council, among others.
“We are delighted to welcome Julie, and are excited about the strategic expertise, leadership skills, collaborative nature, and passion for the mission that she brings to the organization. We engaged in an extensive, nationwide search and are thrilled to have found just the right candidate for the organization’s next chapter as we work to advance diversity on boards and in senior leadership. I’d like to thank the search committee members and Interim Executive Director Andrea McGrath,” said Board Chair Susan Angele.
