Trident Energy and Petrobras ready to present at OWI LATAM 2022

Members of the oil and gas community are rapidly signing up to this year's edition of OWI LATAM, which is returning for its third year from 18-19 October in Rio, Brazil. With the promise of expert insights on six key agenda focuses (P&A, market overview & regulatory changes, production enhancement, well integrity, transformative LWI technologies, and upcoming projects) as well as unique networking opportunities, this is one event not to be missed!
At the conference this year, Petrobras will be showcasing the full range of its expertise with a trio of presentations.
First, Plug & Abandonment Advisor Marcelo Victor Tomaz de Matos will be providing an update on the company's P&A workscope as it prepares for the upcoming decommissioning wave. This session will provide access to Petrobras' P&A performance results in subsea wells and explore the company's P&A R&D roadmap, current challenges, and new techniques and technologies which are being prepared for upcoming campaigns.
Reliability and Risk Assessment Advisor Danilo Colombo will follow his colleague by presenting risk-based decisions in well integrity, where he will establish how the company has used the MyBarrier platform to improve its integrity management. The Advisor will also highlight cases of Quantitative Risk Assessment to identify potential failures before they occur and then explore the future of well integrity using data management and digitalisation in order to mitigate human factors.
Finally, Rafael Rodriguez Fulco, Manager for Rigs Technology and Wells Reliability, will provide an expert session on riserless well intervention where he will evaluate a Brazilian P&A and workover scenario for riserless intervention to understand the strengths and weaknesses of such an approach. Participants of the conference will be able to understand the company's wider riserless homologation process timelines to appropriately plan for integrated well integrity projects and get the chance to review the competitive technical specification that embraces commercial and technical challenges to ensure best in class technology.
The latter, of course, will go hand-in-hand with the return of the Technology Showcase Hall where Latin America's innovative service providers will have the chance to present their technologies and build new opportunities.

Finally, the wells integrity lead will analyse the probabilistic quantitative approach to well integrity in mature fields to create standardized workover programs before opening the floor for questions from the audience.
