Trident University Ph.D. in Health Sciences Alumnus Co-Edits Book on Advanced Practice Providers
Dr. Roy Constantine, graduate of Trident's Ph.D. in Health Sciences program and part-time professor, lends his expertise as co-editor of the academic publication, "Integrating Advanced Practice Providers into the ICU."
CYPRESS, Calif., July 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Trident University International (Trident) alumnus and faculty member Dr. Roy Constantine is a co-editor of the academic publication, "Integrating Advanced Practice Providers into the ICU," which is available now through the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
This publication serves as a key resource for advanced practice providers (APPs), administrators, intensivists, and related positions, by providing the information required to successful integrate APPs into diverse ICU teams. Topics covered include staffing models, billing, credentialing, professional development, metrics, and much more.
Dr. Constantine, 2006 graduate of Touro University's Ph.D. in Health Sciences program, has been a part-time instructor in Trident's College of Health and Human Services since 2007. His areas of expertise include surgery, critical care, patient safety, patient quality outcomes, and advanced practice provider education.
He is currently the Assistant Director of Advanced Practice Providers at St. Francis Hospital in New York. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Association of Physician Assistants (DFAAPA), as well as a Fellow of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Constantine earned a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from New York Medical College, a RPA/Physician Assistant from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from St. Joseph's College.
