This distribution partnership will allow scientists in Australia to adopt the ground-breaking TELL-Seq Whole Genome Sequencing technology for their complex DNA sequencing projects.
CANTON, Mass., Sept. 1, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Universal Sequencing Technology Corporation ('UST'), a developer of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies, today is proud to announce a commercial relationship with Golden Gateway Partners, LLC for the exclusive distribution in Australia of the game changing TELL-Seq WGS Library Prep Kit.
The TELL-Seq kit is the linked-read alternative to long-read DNA sequencing. Customers in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia are currently using the kit to turn their short-read DNA sequencers into long-read sequencers. The kit can be used with very low input amounts of DNA for de novo DNA sequencing applications as well as elucidating genomic structural variations and genome phasing.
Universal Sequencing Technology was founded by next generation DNA sequencing veterans from Roche/454. The TELL-Seq WGS Library Preparation kit is the first product launched from UST with multiple products in the pipeline. The underlying technology behind the TELL-Seq, which stands for Transposase Enzyme Linked Long-read Sequencing, was invented by Chief Science Officer Zhoutao "Tom" Chen.
