The location is an expansion of the Valbridge | Indiana office.
Leading the Valbridge St. Louis office will be Ben Long, Larry Mitchell, and Joe Alerding. Long has been with Valbridge since 2017 and has 14 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. Ben is the Executive Director of Valbridge Property Advisors | Indiana | St. Louis and manages overall business operations while acting as the central point of contact for client relationships.
Mitchell and Alerding each held previous positions at Mitchell Appraisals, Inc. with a combined 39 years of experience. Both hold the MAI designation with the Appraisal Institute and are a part of the national fair value team.
Mitchell is the Senior Managing Director of Valbridge Property Advisors | Indiana | St. Louis and has served on the Hoosier State Chapter of the Appraisal Institute as President. Mitchell has also served as President for the MIBOR (Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS) and ICBR (Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS). Larry's expertise in tax assessment appeal appraisals, expert testimony, and valuation for financial reporting serve him across the office's multi-state region including Indiana, Kentucky, and Missouri.
Rounding out the St. Louis team is Joe Alerding, Managing Director of Valbridge Property Advisors | Indiana | St. Louis. Alerding is currently a member of the Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis and a member of the national fractional interest team. Alerding's areas of expertise include fair value appraisals, market value in-use appraisal, and partial interest valuation. Joe is currently licensed in the states of Indiana and Illinois and has been involved in appraising the Bottle Works and Electric Works redevelopment projects.
