Variety of festive fun to be had in Duncan this October
Events include Boo Review, Fall Festival, and CTAC LIVE Concert Series
DUNCAN, Okla., Oct. 7, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- It's gearing up to be a festive October in Duncan, OK with a number of activities for the children, as well as adults. Visitors will find the CTAC LIVE Concert Series featuring the Rastrelli Cello Quartet, Main Street Duncan's Boo Review, and the Simmons Center's Family Fall Festival in the latter half of the month.
On Oct 21 at 7:30 PM, enjoy the sounds of the Rastrelli Cello Quartet in the Simmons Center Theatre. Hosted by the Chisholm Trail Arts Council, the quartet will bring "sizzle to every bit of music they perform." With a range that includes classical, folk, and pop, these 4 gentlemen are sure to intrigue and entertain the audience this October. Tickets are $20/adult, $15/senior or military, and $10/student. Tickets may be purchased at the Simmons Center events office or online at http://www.chisholmtrailarts.com.
A few short days later, Main Street Duncan will host the annual Boo Review. This beloved event invites families to downtown Duncan where the children can trick or treat with local vendors or participate in the costume contest. With an abundance of candy and fun, the Boo Review will certainly be a highlight for each attending family year in and out. The event will take place from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on October 23, 2021. One week later, make plans to spend the day at the 13th Annual Simmons Center Family Fall Festival. Beginning at 2:00 PM on October 30, bring the whole family out for a fun-filled day with a carnival, children's spook house, costume contest, and for the older crowd, a haunted house. The carnival will be held from 2:00-6:00 with games, costume contest, bounce house, food trucks, and more. Wristbands for the carnival are $5.00/each. In addition to the carnival, families can also bring their little ones through the kid's spook house. This kid friendly haunted house will be filled with characters that they love to pass out candy and prizes. Tickets for the spook house are also $5.00/each. The day will complete with a full haunted house for those who want to squeal and scream. Visit the Witches Coven Haunted House at the Simmons Center from 7:00-11:00 PM with a break for actors from 8:50-9:10 PM. Admission into the haunted house will be $10.00/each.
