Venture Construction Group of Florida Sponsors Team Evolve in Savage Race
Florida construction company promotes excellence in mental and physical fitness
DADE CITY, Fla., Nov. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Sponsored by Venture Construction Group of Florida (VCGFL), Team Evolve participates in Savage Race on Nov. 9. Savage Race is a 5-7 mile obstacle course with over 27 challenges for team members to overcome. The race kicked off at 9 a.m. at 17951 Hamilton Rd. in Dade City. Registration fees start at $79 per participant. Participants receive a T-shirt, medal, RFID chip timing, photos, and a beer at the finish line.

The VCGFL sponsorship helped with training and team-building for Team Evolve. The team was displaced for several months after Hurricane Michael damaged their obstacle course, which critically disrupted their training program.
Based in Panama City, Fla., Team Evolve is led by coach JT Thompson. Team members train and participate in a variety of obstacle courses throughout the year, in addition to volunteering in a number of community projects. Team Evolve includes members from Bay County Sheriff Office employees, Fire Department employees, current and retired veterans, Bay County employees and officials, Search and Rescue Volunteers and other citizens who are committed to their health and community and inspiring others to live a healthier lifestyle.
