Village Dermatology name Top Tiger for a third straight year

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Dec. 30, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Auburn University released its Top Tiger award for 2020. This award is presented by the Harbert College of Business and aims to recognize former Auburn alumni that have embraced the entrepreneurial spirit by founding, owning, or leading a company. Dr. Jenny Sobera, founder and owner of Village Dermatology, has earned this designation for the third straight year as an alumnus of Auburn University.

To qualify for Top Tigers consideration, companies must meet the following standards:

  • Company must be founded, owned or led (CEO, CFO, presidents, vice president, etc.) by an Auburn University alumnus
  • Company must be in business for at least four full years
  • Company's revenues must be at least $500,000 by the end of FY2019
  • Company must operate in a manner consistent with The Auburn Creed

To receive a Top Tiger designation, a company must first meet the standards mentioned above and then submit financial statements to the CPA firm, Warren Averett. From there, all companies are evaluated "on the basis of year-over-year revenue growth during the program time period."
