Wealth Intelligence Leader Adds 270,000 Records on Wealthy Chinese Individuals.
NEW YORK, Aug. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Wealth-X, the leader in applied wealth intelligence, announced today a major expansion of the company's proprietary global database. The company has identified nearly 270,000 wealthy Chinese individuals, growing its total dataset of wealthy individuals by more than 22% and expanding its coverage in China by nearly eighteen times.
This new dataset includes records on both very high net worth (VHNW) individuals, those with a net worth of between $5 and $30 million, and ultra high net worth (UHNW) individuals, those with a net worth of at least $30 million.

The Wealth-X World Ultra Wealth Report 2018 revealed that China has had one of the fastest growing ultra high net worth populations in the world, expanding annually by an average of 13.4% since 2012. Wealth-X anticipates that this growth trend will continue through the next 5 years and beyond; the company's High Net Worth Handbook 2019 estimates the high net worth (HNW) Chinese population will expand annually by nearly 10% to the year 2023.
