Willig, Williams & Davidson Partner to Become Director of PA Bureau of Workers' Compensation
Marianne Henry Saylor to head Pennsylvania bureau overseeing workers' comp.
PHILADELPHIA, June 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Philadelphia labor, employment, and workers' compensation law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson is proud to announce that longtime attorney and firm partner Marianne Henry Saylor will leave the firm to become Director of the Bureau of Workers' Compensation for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Saylor will assume her new role in the administration of Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf on June 3, 2019, during the 18th Annual Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Conference in Hershey. During the 18 years that Saylor practiced law with Willig, Williams & Davidson, she focused her practice on workers' compensation, representing injured workers across the state of Pennsylvania.

At Willig, Williams & Davidson, Saylor practiced with partner Michael G. Dryden, and colleagues Matthew W. Slater, and Paul M. Della Franco in focusing on workers' compensation law. All four attorneys are certified in the practice of workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers' Compensation Law Section, routinely representing clients before administrative law judges, the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board and the Commonwealth and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania. They also frequently author articles and present seminars on workers' compensation, advising labor organizations and community groups of the rights and responsibilities of injured workers.
Active in her community, Saylor has served on Lansdowne Borough Council and previously served as a board member and secretary of the Southwest Community Development Corporation, a private nonprofit organization that provides assistance to residents and promotes local economic development. Saylor earned a bachelors' degree from Bennington College before going on to earn her law degree from City University of New York School of Law. She lives in Phoenixville Pennsylvania.
