NewYorkCIO recognized chief information officers in seven key categories – Leadership, Super Global, Global, Large Enterprise, Enterprise, Corporate, & Healthcare. The NewYorkCIO ORBIE Awards were presented virtually.

- Nicholas Parrotta, CDO & CIO, HARMAN International received the Global ORBIE for organizations over $2 billion annual revenue & multi-national operations.
- Robert Galvin, CTO, The Port Authority of NY and NJ received the Large Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $4 billion annual revenue.
- Suvajit Basu, CIO, Goya Foods Inc. received the Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $1.5 billion annual revenue.
- Kalicharan Durgampudi, CTO, Zelis Healthcare received the Corporate ORBIE for organizations up to $1.5 billion annual revenue.
- Jamie Nelson, SVP & CIO, Hospital for Special Surgery received the Healthcare ORBIE for hospitals and healthcare organizations.
The CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States. Since inception in 1998, over 1,800 CIOs have been honored as finalists and over 400 CIO of the Year winners have received the prestigious ORBIE Award.
