Winners of 2021 St.LouisCIO ORBIE Awards Announced
Executives from Centene, Edward Jones, Ameren, Panera Bread, Cass Information Systems, and BJC Healthcare Recognized for their Achievements

St.LouisCIO recognized chief information officers in six key categories – Leadership, Large Enterprise, Enterprise, Large Corporate, Corporate, & Healthcare. The St.LouisCIO ORBIE Awards were presented virtually.

- Frank LaQuinta, CIO, Edward Jones received the Large Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $8 billion annual revenue.
- Bhavani Amirthalingam, SVP & Chief Digital Information Officer, Ameren received the Enterprise ORBIE, for organizations over $2.5 billion annual revenue.
- John Meister, SVP & CIO, Panera Bread received the Large Corporate ORBIE for organizations over $1 billion annual revenue.
- Jim Cavellier, EVP & CIO, Cass Information Systems received the Corporate ORBIE for organizations up to $1 billion annual revenue.
- Jerry Fox, SVP, CIO & CDO, BJC Healthcare received the Healthcare ORBIE for hospitals, healthcare, and other nonprofit health organizations.
The CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States. Since inception in 1998, over 1,800 CIOs have been honored as finalists and over 400 CIO of the Year winners have received the prestigious ORBIE Award. The ORBIE honors chief information officers who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership.
