Youth Leadership Program Goes Digital Enrolling More Students and Offering More Scholarships
LEAP Foundation prepares to kick off 1st virtual program designed to give young adults tools to succeed
LOS ANGELES, July 16, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As the LEAP Foundation (Leadership Excellence Accelerating Potential) celebrates 13 years of shaping successful leaders, it is launching this year as 100% virtual. Like many other organizations making necessary adjustments as a result of the pandemic, from July 20-24th, the LEAP Foundation will be welcoming over 500 students from eight countries to its virtual program – 80% of whom are attending on scholarship.

During the weeklong summer program, typically held on the UCLA campus, students live in the dorms and learn real-life skills to achieve great success with the help of TED and TEDx speakers, business leaders and celebrity speakers. The high school and college attendees (ages 15-27+) learn everything from business etiquette to goal setting, time management, effective communication, interview skills and much more. This year's program is expecting celebrities such as Will.i.am, Apolo Ohno, Paula Abdul, Jason Alexander, Jonathan Bennett and former LEAP participant and Bachelorette Hannah Brown.
