$165M Solar Farm in Fayetteville, NC is approved and ready for Construction
Asheville, NC (PRWEB) February 12, 2015 -- Innovative Solar Systems, LLC has received all approvals and is ready to start construction on a 75 Megawatt Solar Farm project in North Carolina. A Solar Farm site of this size will be able to generate enough electricity to power approximately 20,000 average size homes states John E. Green, CEO of Innovative Solar Systems. ISS has all approvals in hand which include interconnection agreements, long term purchase power agreements, state, federal, and regulatory approvals for Innovative Solar 42. This project will be one of the largest to ever be approved and built in the Eastern United States.
ISS is in final negotiations with potential owners and investors that seek to own this Solar Farm facility once built. This project is attractive to most buyers of large scale solar generating plants due to the long term Purchase Power Agreement (PPA) and the projects easy build site. Innovative Solar Systems, LLC has already obtained EPC quotes to not only construct, but also provide the long term operating and maintenance on the Solar Farm as required. ISS has almost 500 Megawatts of Shovel Ready Solar Farm projects available for immediate sale and construction here in the United States and approximately another 1Gigawatt of projects in various development stages in about six other key states.
