#1 Star Trek Podcast announces launch of Kickstarter to produce documentary. "To Boldly Go"
Los Angeles, CA. (PRWEB) August 04, 2023 -- Writer/Producer Mark A. Altman, creator of The CW’s hit docu-series, The Greatest Geek Year Ever: 1982, and bestselling author of Star Trek, The Fifty-Year Mission, has launched the Kickstarter campaign for an exciting new documentary, To Boldly Go.
Terry Farrell, star of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, will join the hosts of the Inglorious Treksperts podcast: Mark A. Altman (showrunner, Pandora, writer/producer Free Enterprise), Daren Dochterman (associate producer, Star Trek: The Motion Picture - Director’s Edition), and Ashley E. Miller (screenwriter, Thor, X-Men: First Class) on the road trip adventure of a lifetime as they make stops at the most iconic and fascinating filming locations from Star Trek episodes and films accompanied by Trek super fan, actress Terry Farrell, including Vasquez Rocks (multiple Star Trek episodes and movies), The Valley of Fire (Star Trek Generations), Bronson Caves (multiple Star Trek episodes and movies), Trona Peaks (Star Trek V), The Titan Missile Museum (Star Trek: First Contact), Calloway Vineyard and Winery (“All Good Things”), Brandeis-Bardin Institute (Star Trek VI), and many more!
Part travelogue, part history lesson, part Curb Your Enthusiasm, this epic documentary will feature stars, directors, writers, and producers of multiple Star Trek shows and movies talking about the locations and making of classic episodes throughout the 60-year history of Star Trek.

The Kickstarter campaign launched at San Diego Comic-Con to immediate fanfare has already achieved close to a quarter of its funding goal. Following its San Diego launch, the Treksperts have gone on a whistle-stop tour in support of the Kickstarter, with appearances at GalaxyCon Raleigh, Creation Entertainment’s 57-Year Mission, GalaxyCon Austin, and all points in between.
