$4 Billion To Be Bet On Super Bowl
Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 28, 2015 -- Much of the $4 billion that is expected to be bet on the Super Bowl will be made illegally and those who gamble illegally are more likely to develop problems. Gambling can become a serious addiction. Between six and eight million adults in the U.S. display indications for this disorder, including:
• using income or savings to gamble while letting bills go unpaid;
• unsuccessful attempts to stop gambling;
• arguing about gambling behavior with loved ones; and
• feeling depressed or suicidal because of gambling losses.
Fortunately there is help and hope available. The Helpline is available across the country and is the most important number for millions of people experiencing a gambling problem, as well as for their loved ones. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, please call the National Problem Gambling Helpline: 800-522-4700.
