“In the MKNG” Creativity Festival Announces Celebrity Appearances
ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. (PRWEB) August 24, 2018 -- The inaugural “In the MKNG” creativity festival, a Hudson Valley festival inspiring and celebrating creativity across demographics and generations, has added several celebrities to the schedule, including Mark Montano, the popular designer, best-selling author, and former host of TLC Network’s hit show “While You Were Out”. “Project Runway” stars Helen Castillo of Season 12 and Ben Mach of Season 11, Mood Designer Fabrics’ mascot Swatch the Dog, the Subway Knitter Louis Boria, and influential social media creators will also make appearances and trigger the artist inside the event’s expected 10,000 attendees. The event will be held September 29-30 at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, N.Y.
Montano will demonstrate unique paint pouring techniques each day at the DecoArt booth and provide tips for attendees during make and take sessions. Castillo and Mach will also attend both festival days, providing opportunities for attendees to meet the fashion stars and learn about their “Project Runway” experiences. Joining the two stars at the Mood Designer Fabrics’ booth is their famous-in-his-own-right mascot, Swatch the Dog, who will model canine fashion and, presumably, pose for selfie photos with attendees.
On Sunday, September 30 at 2:30pm, Boria, the Subway Knitter and one of Lion Brand Yarn’s Ambassadors, will talk about his passion for knitting and how a chance encounter led to fame. He will also talk about #HatNotHate, a campaign that Lion Brand has launched against bullying.
