“Appothecary” Opens Shop, Concocts Psychedelic Apps
New York, NY (PRWEB) May 05, 2014 -- Appothecary, a new “indie” software lab, has been launched by Andrew Kaz, long-time Apple developer and self-described artist.
Developer Andrew Kaz worked with Phill Ryu to create iPhone pioneer “Classics” in 2008. Classics topped the charts at #4, was featured in Apple’s TV ads, and inspired “iBooks” with its realistic visual bookcase & tactile page turns.
Appothecary represents Kaz’s return to software.

• Forager re-thinks the very idea of the web browser.
It’s search- and concept-centric.
Rather than being made of ambiguous text, searches are made of clear combinations of topics, enabling a new kind of “exploratory searching.”
