About the Author
NK Bwana earned his double bachelor's degree in Afro-Ethnic studies with concentration on Black Political Life and Sociology with concentration in Deviant Behavior from Cal. State, Fullerton. He also earned his Master's degree in Teacher Education from Claremont Graduate University and Educational Administration from Cal. State, San Bernardino. He completed all rigorous coursework requirements for his Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Claremont Graduate University. Bwana is also a recording artist and released a record titled “Been So Long” collaborating with many Los Angeles-based artists and his band, “Up From the Roots”. He is currently working on a sophomore record album titled “Hot stage Hostage” and an initial play titled “Yearning For Langston.”
