"Encounters: UFO Experience" Invades Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach, SC (PRWEB) April 28, 2014 -- Alien executives and UFOlogists behind Encounters: UFO Experience (UFOexhibition.com) today announced their interactive attraction – complete with an alien abduction simulation has returned to Myrtle Beach’s Broadway at the Beach after a successful run there last year. Myrtle Beach, known for its golf courses and beautiful coastline, is no stranger to UFO encounters; 44 sightings were reported there in 2013, providing the perfect setting for Encounters, an “out of this world” museum. The exhibition, presented by Intergalactic Brands, uses seven themed galleries to showcase hundreds of artifacts, witness accounts and a wealth of myth-debunking information to attract curious visitors from around the world and offer a compelling case for the existence of alien life and UFOs.
“This is the world's first exhibition exploring the history of UFOs and alien encounters, all in one location,” says Brian Bouquet of The Event Agency. “We immerse visitors with artifacts, conceptual models, film and recordings about ancient alien encounters, the military's role in modern sightings and ‘reverse’ engineering technology, and pop culture's fascination with extraterrestrial life.” A simulation based on thousands of eyewitness accounts takes visitors through the experience of an alien abduction including sites, sounds and sensory involvement, but stops short of being horrific or terrifying. “This is a family-friendly production and aims to be entertaining, informative and most important, fun,” says Bouquet.
A host of new exhibits have been added for 2014, providing families with even more opportunity to explore and engage with Encounters, including:
• Alien Hunter: a laser tag-style shooting gallery
• Alien Autopsy: in a tribute to “Grossology,” visitors can grab alien guts and brains
• Electromagnetic Propelled UFOs: a propulsion exhibit where UFOs are controlled by magnets and visitors
• Alien Gods: a guide to ancient history of aliens
• Speak to Aliens: send messages to outer space (a pre-recorded message is sent in response to kids)
• Alien Specimens: new life forms have been recovered and are on display
• Speaker Series: featuring UFOlogists including special guest Stanton Friedman
“Encounters has proven to be a popular attraction for Broadway at the Beach,” said Patrick Walsh, senior vice president of asset management of Burroughs & Chapin Company, Inc., owners of Broadway at the Beach. “We are eagerly awaiting the reopening of Encounters which has received rave reviews from locals and tourists alike.”
Encounters: UFO Experience is located on the northeastern side of Broadway at the Beach and distinguished by a flying saucer bursting from the side of the building.
