La Verne, CA (PRWEB) May 20, 2014 -- Jimmy John's has announced the addition of a new La Verne, California sandwich shop, which will be the first of twenty-four gourmet sandwich franchise locations Atlas West, Inc will be building in Southern California. Jimmy John's was founded in the Chicago area by Jimmy John Liautaud in 1983. The entrepreneur took to the street to hand out free sandwiches and garner interest in the company's first location, ultimately delivering a great many of the initial orders. The Jimmy John's representative said, "Jimmy baked his own bread from the start because he simply wasn't happy with the options on the market. That tradition stands today, and we bake bread all day to ensure that every customer gets fresh, soft bread with a perfect crust."
The new Jimmy John's in La Verne will offer a sandwich menu replete with what the company calls "plain slims," including ham and cheese, turkey breast, and tuna salad varieties. Other menu items include 8-inch sub sandwiches with ingredients such as medium rare roast beef, applewood smoked ham, genoa salami, and homemade Italian vinaigrette. The Jimmy John's spokesperson emphasized, "Our quality ingredients and meat can't be matched. From real Hellmann's mayo and Dijon mustard to freshly sliced meat and delicious whole pickles, we just can't wait for Southern California customers to bite into one of our subs or giant club sandwiches."
Jimmy John's espouses a standard of speedy service, according to the company spokesperson. He elaborated, "We are ‘Freaky Fast! Our Rock Stars can make sandwiches in under 30-seconds and our model allows for deliveries in under 10-minutes!
