‘God’s Prosperity’ to be Featured at 2013 New York Library Association Combined Book Exhibit
AURORA, Colo. (PRWEB) July 27, 2013 -- In her debut book, “God’s Prosperity” (published by Trafford Publishing), author Michaela Cooke offers a radical new theory for the slow recovery from the 2008 financial crisis: a lack of faith.
“Because our economy is not getting any better, God wants all people who will actually hear and respect Him, to prosper,” she says. “This book was written for their sakes.”
Through a plethora of Scripture passages and a host of life lessons, “God’s Prosperity” teaches the way Cooke believes God wants readers to live. Lessons include the importance of meditation, prayer, forgiveness, and tithing and presenting offerings to the church or the poor. The book discusses sinning by words and deeds, doing the law and being just.
Cooke presents lessons and provides scenarios showing how Jesus would live and what he would do when faced with the realities of today’s challenges. “God’s Prosperity” leads Christians through the Bible to help them understand what it takes to prosper and remain successful.
“It is my personal hope and prayer,” Cooke says, “that this population will learn how to know the Lord personally.”
“God’s Prosperity” will be a featured title at the 2013 New York Library Association Combined Book Exhibit, held in Niagra Falls, N.Y., Sept. 26 – 27.
