‘I Like Chinese Food (Fights)’ Video Back On YouTube
Woodstock, New York (PRWEB) September 30, 2014 -- Kevin Christofora’s video, “I Like Chinese Food (Fights)”, inspired by Alison Gold and Patrice Wilson’s viral video, “Chinese Food”, is back on YouTube this week. After receiving over 2,000 views in three days last week, YouTube removed the video. The video was reinstated and can now be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNmx_Zu0DPk.
The video, which depicts a Chinese food fight between Christofora’s little league team members, features lo mein noodles, rice, spring rolls, pot stickers, egg rolls, and fortune cookies. Christofora says, “We’re happy to have the video back up, and we hope that people will be able to continue to enjoy it.”
Christofora is a children’s book author and little league coach, and he was inspired to stage the giant food fight by the children involved and the desire to captivate their imaginations. He says, “Our little league team got a real kick out of Alison’s video and thought that it would be a lot of fun to put a new twist on the classic food fight: to have a Chinese food fight. We thought that kids would love seeing other kids getting messy with noodles, broccoli, and rice, and that our team would have a lot of fun in the process.” Christofora notes, “I had reservations about wasting food, so I made sure that an equal amount of food was donated to local food banks.”
“I Like Chinese Food (Fights)” features the same children who inspired the Hometown All Stars series of books that Christofora authors. The series is designed to teach baseball through reading, introducing the sport to his four to seven-year-old audience. It is Christofora’s hope that he will encourage today’s children to take part in the same pastime that has captivated the imaginations of previous generations and get them outside, away from the variety of screens that idly occupy their time. As Christofora puts it, “More green, less screen.”
