"In America" with James Earl Jones to highlight new content on Physical Therapy
(PRWEB) June 17, 2015 -- In a brand new episode of “In America,” host James Earl Jones will introduce a segment that will focus the field of Physical Therapy. This segment will dive into what physical therapy is, why it’s essential to those who need therapy, and new treatments being promoted in the field.
Physical therapy isn’t just for those who have been injured, although that is the most common reason individuals get it. It’s also important for individuals who have disabilities, such as muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, Down syndrome, and more. It can also keep the elderly functioning for longer and helps them feel relief. Athletes also would not be able to go back to their sport of preference, had physical therapy not helped them rehabilitate from a sports injury.
This program will look into the most common reasons individuals have to get physical therapy and who are the professionals dedicating themselves to helping these individuals. In addition, this episode will look into the history of physical therapy and advancements in the field helping more individuals.
“In America” is an independent production which is broadcasted through Public Television Stations across the nation. This program is not affiliated or funded by APT or PBS.
