‘In Clouds of Fire’ To Be Made into a Screenplay
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (PRWEB) September 25, 2015 -- Author Elaine Stienon has submitted her 2004 historical novel, “In Clouds of Fire: A Story of Community” (published by AuthorHouse), to a screenwriter to be adapted into a screenplay and submitted to Thruline Entertainment for review.
Stienon’s novel will be converted into character dialogue and detailed action. Her story follows a young man from a Shaker background along his journey assisting a young woman and her brother who are moving from Ohio to Missouri.
Nathaniel is the Shaker who has promised to help a Mormon woman, Hannah, and her brother get safely to Missouri where Hannah’s fiancé, Dan, is building a cabin. Despite his determination to assist, Nathaniel finds himself falling in love with Hannah; his dilemma is made worse by the journey’s trials and threats of persecution.
“In Clouds of Fire” is one of Stienon’s three books about the history of the early Mormons and love, violence and death on the American frontier. Through careful use of historical facts, Stienon hopes to teach readers about the history of the early Mormons through an enjoyable love story.
“I believe not enough is known about non-polygamous Mormons,” Stienon says. “I have made my story as authentic and true to what we know of historical events as possible.”
