(ISC)²® Joins with Institute for Critical Infrastructure Technology (ICIT) as Fellow

ICIT is a non-partisan Think Tank based in Washington, D.C. that acts as a conduit between the legislative community, technology providers and federal agencies.

As a new Fellow, (ISC)2 contributed to the latest briefing to members of the Congressional Cybersecurity Caucus and a member of Senate on H.R. 3696: the National Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Protection Act, providing advisement on additional structures related to information sharing and security. (ISC)2 encouraged government to make cybersecurity a more robust part of every curricula dealing with information systems and to reinforce its commitment to cybersecurity education through additional grant funding/scholarship programs for those areas of focus.
