San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 29, 2014 -- A local San Diego-based business, headed by CEO and owner, Nick Unsworth, has raised nearly $7,000 to purchase 100 Kindle eReaders for extended foster children ages 18-21 to promote reading and inspire entrepreneurialism. The Kindles will be donated at a special event on February 4th at The Rock Church.
Part of Nick's company’s mission is to “pay it forward” by helping groups and causes, such as these young adults who are often pushed out of the “system” and forgotten about due to their age.
In addition to giving the gift of reading to these 100 young adults at the upcoming event, Nick is going to select 3 of them to personally mentor over the coming year.
The event for the kids is being called “Launch Your Life on Fire” and will be held:
February 4th, 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm

The event “Launch Your Life On Fire” is a 3 hour event from 5pm to 8pm Feb. 4th and it is a can’t miss event. It is geared toward encouraging reading and the power of learning to foster children. The foster children who will attend this event will receive a free Kindle eReader. There will be guest speakers on hand, as well.
