“My Duty to Offend” Breaks the PC Barrier
Bluffton, South Carolina (PRWEB) January 21, 2015 -- Conservative author, Kerry Johnson, mounts an offensive against Political Correctness with her explosive new book “My Duty to Offend, hurting your feelings to save your country.” In the first chapter, Johnson turns political analysis on its head by annihilating the basis of two political arguments universally accepted for the past fifty years. She then takes her readers on a political odyssey through recent events, fitting them with lenses crafted to see the political landscape through her revolutionary brand of conservatism.
As one might expect from a collection of blog posts, the chapters are short and pithy. But they are also engagingly varied in approach and style with no small measure of Glenn Beck type good humor and relentless common sense.
Johnson contends that Americans will never find the solutions we seek as long as we punish honesty. She envisions an America in which the extension of good will, countryman to countryman, replaces the self-muzzling of Political Correctness. Regarding this endeavor, she considers no American expendable.
Given the recent Jihadist massacre in Paris and the escalating violence against free speech rooted in Western Civilization, Johnson’s offensive against Political Correctness could not be more timely.
To appease or not to appease? That is the question.
