NOW THAT'S FUNNY! ON SET WITH TV'S HOTTEST COMEDIES: A PALEY CENTER FOR MEDIA SPECIAL, which will
air on the CBS Television Network on Friday, December 26 at 8:00pm ET. The annual special, voiced by The Talk’s Aisha Tyler, will give audiences a behind-the-scenes look at prime time’s hottest comedies, featuring insightful interviews with the stars and creative teams. The shows being featured this season include: The Big Bang Theory, Mom, Modern Family, Parks and Recreation, The Mindy Project, Episodes, Key and Peele, and New Girl.
This one-of-a-kind program will give viewers a look inside the intricate process of getting television’s funniest shows on the air each week. From the brainstorming in the writers room, to the informal hilarity of the table read, to the energy and spontaneity of the actual performance, audiences will see how their favorite shows continue to keep fans laughing.
Among the casts and producers interviewed for the special are: Chuck Lorre, Jim Parsons, Allison Janney, Steve Levitan, Christopher Lloyd, Sofia Vergara, Mike Schur, Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Matt LeBlanc, David Crane, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Elizabeth Meriwether, and Zooey Deschanel.
