'Ornament of Hope' Fundraising Campaign Wrapping Up Another Successful Year
Evans, GA (PRWEB) December 19, 2014 -- Owner/broker Larry Miller of CENTURY 21 Larry Miller Realty recently announced that his company 's 2014 “Ornament of Hope” fundraising event is projected to wind up with yet another successful conclusion. This year’s custom-designed ornament commemorates the historic Southern Railway Freight Station in Downtown Augusta.
Lynn Smith, President and CEO of Easter Seals East Georgia, echoed the sentiments of Easter Seals executives across the nation. “Words cannot express the appreciation Easter Seals has for the entire Century 21 organization. In communities all over the country, CENTURY 21 Real Estate brokers and agents are doing what they can to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities by hosting events, giving personal donations and volunteering their time and talents for Easter Seals,” reports Ms. Smith. “Here in the Augusta area, we are especially blessed to have CENTURY 21 Larry Miller, one of the nation's leaders in Easter Seal support, as our local partner. They were there with us when we started this program in 1993, and we have formed a wonderful relationship through the years. They have been dedicated, loyal partners in support of our services.”
Easter Seals is a non-profit, community-based social services agency dedicated to helping people with disabilities attain greater independence.

“It's always ornament season at Easter Seals as far as we’re concerned,” explains long-time “Ornament of Hope” Project Chairperson Carol Allen. “But we really get serious about selling these collectibles during this time of the year.” Since 1993, CENTURY 21 Larry Miller Realty has been at the forefront of this great effort here in the CSRA, helping to put "hope" back into the lives of adults with disabilities. “Most of the donations we collect, other than personal contributions, come from sales of the Ornament of Hope," adds Mrs. Allen. “Our realtors and staff are truly dedicated to raising money for Easter Seals on a year-round basis.”
Each year, an iconic historical site in Augusta is selected to be represented in the Ornament of Hope for each location. Begin your collection now by purchasing current ornaments from your favorite CENTURY 21 Larry Miller Realty realtor or staff member (http://www.C21LarryMiller.com), and then, as each new ornament is unveiled each year, add them to your growing set.
