“Philly’s Heart Beats with Orlando” T-Shirt Fundraising Campaign Launched by PrintFly Corporation
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) June 17, 2016 -- Today, the “Philly’s Heart Beats with Orlando” t-shirt fundraising campaign is being launched by Philadelphia-based custom apparel company, PrintFly, via their SpreadSpirit.com web property. 100% of the proceeds from the sales of this t-shirt will go towards Equality Florida’s “Support Victims of Pulse Shooting” GoFundMe campaign. Additionally, PrintFly will match those funds raised by the t-shirt sales.
“The recent tragic events in Orlando have left people all over the world speechless. Here in Philadelphia, we can’t express enough how deeply sorry we are for all of the victims and for their families affected by this unthinkable event” stated PrintFly CEO Mike Nemeroff. He continued, “Our employees wanted a way to show support and unity for those affected and also to contribute to the fundraising effort, so we created this campaign with the hope that we can provide some help.”
The shirt design was inspired by Philadelphia artist Ryan McK, who’s touching tribute graphic was posted to the Philadelphia SubReddit on Reddit.com shortly after the attack. From there, PrintFly designer Kacie Doran created the t-shirt you see in the campaign. The mirrored city skylines represent the unity we feel in this region for the people of Orlando, the heartbeat symbolizes our support for the victims of the Pulse attack, and the pride heart reinforces the notion that hate will never conquer our collective spirits.
