@properties’ @gives back Holds Laugh Off Fundraiser With Chicago Bulls’ Joakim Noah And Second City
CHICAGO (PRWEB) September 29, 2015 -- @gives back, the charitable arm of Chicago-based real estate firm @properties, hosted its Laugh Off fundraiser on Sept. 14, featuring Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah and the cast of Second City Chicago. The event raised over $40,000 for Noah’s Arc Foundation, a local organization founded by Noah and his mother Cecilia Rodhe.
More than 175 guests attended the event, which was held at the Uptown Underground nightclub in Uptown. The event featured a VIP reception with Noah, a real-estate themed sketch comedy performance by the Second City cast, a silent auction, and an after-party with a performance by Kiss Kiss Cabaret. Sponsors included Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C.; Proper Title; JWC Media; VHT Studios; Fogarty & Fugate, @financial, HMR, CS Modern Luxury and Sparkles Entertainment.
@gives back (formerly @properties Friends and Neighbors Community Fund) was established in 2009 by @properties co-founders Thaddeus Wong and Michael Golden to inspire charitable outreach and to support local organizations with an emphasis on education, homelessness and youth development. The fund’s board of directors is comprised of @properties brokers, employees and partners, led by board president Bari Levine of @properties, and vice president Kelli Fogarty, attorney with Fogarty and Fugate.
