"Save America Gathering" Encourages Christians and Messianic Jews to Embrace God, Savior, Messiah, and Prayer, During Week Following Government Shutdown's End
Martinez, CA (PRWEB) October 23, 2013 -- Robert Berry, and other leaders of the Christian Non-Profit, "Save America Gathering," are using the Government Shutdown's end to remind Christians and Messianic Jews to eschew the world's pull, and place their faith in God, the Messiah, and prayer.
"Place your faith in the Person of The Christ, who is Yeshua, Jesus, The Messiah, not the persons of the television, or, the internet," said Berry. "The government may be shut again. This could continue, despite the impact on the lives of the Americans who elected these individuals to look out for our interests. This is a great proof of why we need to pray, continuously, for all elected leaders, whether we voted to elect them, or not, as is scripturally required. The Apostle, Paul, wrote, in Timothy 2:1-15 (ESV) "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, ..." Covering our leadership with prayer is far superior to covering them with vileness and anger, as our enemy, Satan would want us to do. But, remember, 2 Chronicles 7:14 (ESV) says: "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.""
Berry went on, discussing the deterioration of institutions that constitute quality of life, for most Americans. "The institutions of the United States of America are being undermined by human weakness and fallen nature. Whether it is political parties, business leaders, public officials, educational institutions and educators, law enforcement, the military, healthcare providers, or, our courts and their officers; I see that continuous reports of corruption and disregard for civil society are surfacing. The Word of God says, in Job 12:23-25 (ESV) "He makes nations great, and he destroys them; he enlarges nations, and leads them away. He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth and makes them wander in a pathless waste. They grope in the dark without light, and he makes them stagger like a drunken man." And this is, sometimes, just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak, because of the control many institutions exert over what information is made public."
Berry concluded, "A lot of people have been disappointed by a lot of people! Don't set yourselves up! Satan is still loosed upon the world, and still roaming like a lion, devouring everyone he can. Pray! Turn to God! Place faith in Him, and ask Him to change our nation! We are, today, 233 days into "555 days of Prayer to Save America." We are at day 78 of a one-hundred-day-long prayer to God, asking forgiveness of the sins and shortcomings of His Church. We are doing this in preparation for calling the prayer-fortified Church to act, in unity, and pray for the restoration of the United States of America during, the next 100-day prayer segment. This segment is crucial to the mission of "555 days of Prayer to Save America." We are trying to save America from itself, through prayer."
The 555-day-long prayer event will conclude on September 11, 2014, with "The Great Wave Offering," which is being planned, at the time of this release.
