‘Telekinetic’ Offers a New Perspective Into a Post-apocalyptic World
Albuquerque, New Mexico (PRWEB) October 26, 2013 -- Throughout human history, the apocalypse has been a common subject. The apocalypse has been mentioned in important historical records such as the Bible and has been in the minds of such great seers as Nostradamus. In “Telekinetic,” author Rani Divine has crafted a world where the apocalypse has already occurred and a rave of mutants known as the Advanced have risen.
In “Telekinetic,” the world has been ravaged by the apocalypse and the nations of the world are divided into factions. The world is a harsh and bleak place and there is constant hostility between all survivors. From the ashes of this apocalyptic wasteland has risen a new race of humans, known as the Advanced, gifted with incredible powers due to the mutation in their genes. The story revolves around young telekinetic soldier Reem Kahrin who after being sent to the Advanced city of Athena on a secret mission had been declared a traitor and sentenced to death. After escaping with the help of Jameson, an Advanced with the power to teleport, she must now fight to survive in the harsh post-apocalyptic nightmare that is her world and ultimately overthrow the people she once considered allies.
This book is a highly engrossing read filled with political back-stabbing and edge of your seat action that would leave one wanting more. It also boasts of memorable characters that show such realistic emotions and convictions that one could not help but sympathize with their plight. “Telekinetic” is a truly complete science fiction book that would leave readers fervently waiting for the sequel.
