‘The 100th Wish’ Is Granted in Children’s Book
SURF CITY, N.C. (PRWEB) February 09, 2016 -- “The 100th Wish” (published by AuthorHouse) is based upon a true story told by Caroline Keefer and Sandra Brown. It shows how, in her seven year-long longing for a puppy, Caroline had to learn all the ways to make a wish, who to ask to assist her, how to take responsibility and cope with disappointment and frustration – invaluable life lessons for young readers learning the ways of the world.
“What is a wish? How many ways are there to make a wish? Does wishing all the ways you can think of make wishes come true or is there more to it?” these are the questions Caroline asks through the book as, with its vibrant illustrations and engaging narratives, it shows readers how desires can be fulfilled or frustrated as life goes by.
“This is a magical journey. All of the wishing, frustration and passion that goes into a wish can sometimes come true. This is an actual retelling of a story about one wish that did come alive,” Caroline says. “We think most children wish for a pet. Most adults make excuses or say no to their child’s wish for a pet. This book tells how perseverance is rewarded.”
Her experiences and the outcome of her story have led her to look at wishes and fulfillment in a new way. She has dedicated her second book to the Make a Wish Foundation and appeals to her readers to make a difference in the life of a child.
