Brandow (Native Hawaiian/Diné) will discuss the tradition and innovation of the painted medium at a panel presented by the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA) and Collected Works Bookstore and Coffeehouse. The discussion, entitled “The Intangible and the Imaginary:" A Defense of Painting in the Age of New Media, will be a thought-provoking exploration of contemporary art and aesthetics.
