“The Season” Promises a Never-Before-Seen Video/Digital Content Series
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) September 21, 2017 -- STX and Inside Lacrosse are excited to partner together to launch “The Season,” a year-long video and multi-platform digital content series that will spotlight powerhouse NCAA Division I programs Duke, North Carolina, Ohio State and Syracuse in a scope and breadth completely new to the sport of lacrosse.
“The Season” will revolve around 10 episodes that will be shot and shared between September 2017 and May 2018, following the four programs from pre-season through the championship. The series will be supported by live social media content shot on-site, as well as interactive social programs that will expose fans to their favorite programs in completely new ways. All of it will be integrated on an innovative new dot-com platform at http://www.theseason2018.com, and fans can register to receive updates as “The Season” gets underway.
Featuring a combined 19 national titles and last year’s NCAA runners-up, the Blue Devils, Tar Heels, Buckeyes and Orange are four of the sport’s foremost programs, and “The Season” will document the on-field and off-field lives of coaches and players over their nine-month journey toward hoisting the hardware on Memorial Day Weekend.
Enlisting the services of prolific film-maker Jason Johnson and Baltimore-based agency Mission Media, Inside Lacrosse and STX will visit each campus several times throughout the fall and spring, as well as signature events like October’s Michael R. Breschi Scholarship Game and April’s signature match-ups between the ACC title contenders.
