In her disguise, Gina did several cuts and styles, in addition to a weave, pedicure and straight-edge shave that were relatively new to her and challenging. “And this was a terrific education for me as a leader of the company,” Rivera said. “We truly strive to put the salon professionals first in our business model. To meet them and work with them in their salons like I did for ‘Undercover Boss’ added hugely to my insight. I’m the president of my company and I still style hair every week, but this got me even closer to the people who work in our salons and that was invaluable.”
