Chapel Hill, N.C. (PRWEB) September 20, 2016 -- Providing solutions to the critical economic issues facing the next U.S. presidential administration will be the focus of an Oct. 14 conference at the Frank Hawkins Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise at UNC Kenan Flagler Business School.
The conference is entitled “What’s Next America?” It will bring together influential business leaders, academics and policy makers to examine critical economic issues.
Plenary and breakout sessions will address education, health care, aging population demographics, financial policy, infrastructure, income inequality, technological innovation and tax policy.
Jim Sasser, former U.S. Senator and Ambassador to China, will give the keynote address.
“We are bringing together CEOs, researchers and policy makers with the mandate of making a substantive impact,” Gregory W. Brown, Kenan Institute director and professor of finance. “We want to identify concrete solutions to the most important economic issue, and after the conference we will develop policy briefs for the next administration.”
