A2B Tracking Releases UC! Web™ 2.5
Portsmouth, RI (PRWEB) July 30, 2013 -- A2B Tracking Solutions has released the latest version of UC! Web™, the company’s flagship IUID asset tracking and data management software, which is used widely by Department of Defense components and defense contractors to identify, mark and track items in accordance with military standards.
UC! Web version 2.5 gives defense manufacturers and government furnished property managers full Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) capabilities, enabling them to maintain total IUID compliance while expediting invoicing and supporting paperless ecommerce initiatives enacted by the Defense Contractor Management Agency’s (DCMA) eBusiness Directorate.
The new update provides an automated end-to-end WAWF solution – from UII creation to IUID Registry submission, asset shipment with advanced ship notice, invoicing and report generation. By eliminating manual entry and errors, defense contractors and property managers can avoid rejected shipments and ensure more timely payment.

UC! Web 2.5 offers more connections to data sources such as FEDLOG to build greater data integrity for the military. The software also supports the DFARS 252.232-7003 contract clause for Electronic Submission of Payment Requests, which requires suppliers to create either a Receiving Report, or a combined Receiving and Invoice Report (Combo).
