A book entitled Alzheimer's Disease: A Potential $1.1 Trillion Call for Innovative Financial Products and Meaningful Tax Reform has just been published.
Gettysburg, PA (PRWEB) February 25, 2016 -- On January 4, 2011 President Barrack Obama signed into law The National Alzheimer's Project Act - PUBLIC LAW 111-375. At the heart of this legislation is a provision that prevents AD care and treatments from bankrupting Medicare and Medicaid funds. That provision places a burden on the states to develop and fund an internal AD program. None of the fifty states are in a financial position to meet this obligation.
The text introduces two innovative financial products designed to help fund this medical crisis. If offers ideas about tax reform to help assist caregivers in meeting personal financial costs that up to now are leaving many families financially insolvent.
