A Bounty of Fun Awaits Ye Babies! Florida Hospital and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Are Drafting Newborns into the “Bucs Babies” Program to Coincide with the NFL Draft
TAMPA, FL (PRWEB) April 27, 2017 -- Florida Hospital, the Exclusive Hospital of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is recruiting new rookie talent as they kick off the 4th annual “Bucs Babies” program April 27th – May 31st and celebrate all “Bucs Babies” born at the 3rd annual birthday party in May.
The “Bucs Babies” program will be offered at Florida Hospital locations in the Tampa Bay area including: Florida Hospital Tampa, Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, Florida Hospital Zephyrhills and Florida Hospital North Pinellas. Each family delivering at Florida Hospital will receive a “rookie training kit” as part of the “Bucs Babies” program. The 2017 training kit will include a RuMe reusable diaper bag filled with an official “Buc’s Babies” branded plush blanket, bib and baby hat as well as a “Bucs Baby on Board” car window sign, a Buccaneers birth certificate and four tickets to a Buccaneer’s 2017 preseason game. Health and wellness items for the tiny draftees and their families are courtesy of Publix, Procter & Gamble and Centra Care Florida Hospital Urgent Care. Publix is donating wipes, lotion, bath wash, shampoo, cotton swabs and a $10 Publix gift card as part of the Publix Baby Club. Procter & Gamble is donating a reusable mom grab-and-go fabric bag, Pampers Baby Wipes, Deft, Crest, Always, Puffs To-Go Tissue Packets and coupons while Centra Care Florida Hospital Urgent Care is providing the first-aid kits. Families will also receive special access and free passes to future “Bucs Babies” annual birthday parties.

In honor of all “Bucs Babies” who were drafted in previous years, the Buccaneers and Florida Hospital will be celebrating their first, second and third birthdays at One Buccaneer Place. In addition to the babies, hundreds of families plus their OB labor and delivery staffs will be invited back to partake in the festivities. Attending families will be encouraged to get active by participating in NFL combine-style Play 60 football drills, a quarterback challenge and jumping in the bounce house. There will be special appearances by Captain Fear, Buccaneers cheerleaders and current players. Fun-filled birthday gift bags will be distributed to each Buc Baby. There will be face painters, games for the whole family to enjoy, family-friendly entertainment and a coloring station courtesy of Chevron. A photo booth complete with props will be onsite offering attendees a special photo opportunity to commemorate this special day. Coca-Cola Beverages Florida will keep guests hydrated and entertained by providing beverages as well as other fun activities. Brunch will be served and Publix will supply Buccaneer decorated cupcakes to celebrate the occasion.
